I've been trying to identify by petal numbers and shapes, and leaf shapes, not thinking much about numbers of leaflets... so much to consider! It's really kind of you to help, and most appreciated!

Thanks! This is another mystery for me, as I still haven't found any that look vibrantly pink or pure white, so I'm not sure where any parent species might be... but it's probably easy for me to miss things and I might not be reaching far enough afield.

Thanks! That might explain some of my earlier sightings in another location, where there have been similar flowers with four and five petals, and I haven't been quite sure. I'll have to look extra carefully, next seasons, I expect!
