(1/2) Long story short? 😅 it’s about a lonely marriage that leads to an affair.
For the MF: it shows how common expectations for women of color lead to a fear of self / public perception
For the MM: it shows how grief & abandonment can create avoidance behaviors / unfulfilled relationships
Same! I’ve been flirting with comfort reads of mine, so *in theory* I don’t spend all my free time getting lost in new material…
(But I’m still reading new stuff because I sincerely can’t help myself. I honestly just need more hours in the day 🫣)

I’m working on a romance novel! I just recently started writing (very recent) and this is my first project.
It feels kinda overly ambitious as a newbie sometimes, but breaking it into bite size pieces has made it incredibly enjoyable ♥️😊

We like prepping a seitan loaf during the week and usually make little English muffin sandwiches with it for breakfast. Seitan is super high in protein!
And tofu eggs! I found that black salt and nutritional yeast really helps give the egg-y taste
