Israel is illegally boarding the Global Sumud Flotilla in international waters.

The humanitarian Flotilla was sailing to Gaza on a peaceful mission, in compliance with international law, to deliver humanitarian aid and put an end to the illegal Israeli siege in Gaza.

Last night, the Global Sumud Flotilla was under attack.

But the crew is more determined than ever to stop the illegal Israeli humanitarian blockade and deliver humanitarian aid.

We demand safe passage for the flotilla, the full suspension of the EU-Israeli agreement, and the end to the genocide.

Yesterday, @ec.europa.eu proposed sanctions against two Israeli ministers and some settlers, and to suspend certain trade-related provisions of the Association Agreement between the EU and Israel.

Our opinion on this? Too little, too late …

Last night, the Global Sumud Flotilla’s Family Boat, with @marianamortagua.bsky.social (@blocodeesquerda.bsky.social) aboard, was hit by a drone.

Hours later, Israel ordered 1M+ in Gaza City to evacuate. We condemn the illegal acts, & demand safe passage for the Flotilla & sanctions against Israel.

✨ Another inspiring day at the European Left Alliance Summer Camp!

Here at the European Left Alliance Youth Summer Camp in Poland’s lake district, nature isn’t just a backdrop—it’s a reminder of what we’re fighting for.

The afternoon brought adventure - kayaking down the river - and friendly competition with fencing and football matches.

As the sun set, we gathered to hear from Jakub Sypiański of Grupa Granica who shed light on the Polish-Belarusian border crisis and the urgent need for solidarity

Next, we explored the women's movement for the masses with Manon Aubry (Co-chair of The Left), Marilyn dos Santos, Julia Karwan-Jastrzębska (Federa) and Zofia Malisz (Razem) discussing how to turn backlash into a breakthrough.

We kicked off with an inspiring educational panel on LGBTQIA+ liberation featuring Malin Björk (Co-chair of ELA), Aleksandra Owca (Co-chair of Razem), Filip Chudy and Paweł Preneta (Atlas Nienawiści) - diving deep into the fight for justice in the face of reactionary backlash.

From powerful conversations to adrenaline on the water - 2nd day had it all! 👇

Dąbrowszczacy (1936-1939): Polish volunteers and left-wing activists, who fought against fascism in the Spanish Civil War.

Irena Sendler (1910-2008): A nurse and social activist who rescued around 2,500 Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto during WWII.

Ignacy Daszyński (1866-1936): Socialist politician who fought for workers' rights and Polish independence. He briefly led Poland's Provisional People's Government after WWI, advocating for women's voting rights and land reform.

As the ELA Youth Summer Camp takes place in Poland, we're celebrating the lives of Polish Socialists - the people who shaped the country's leftist traditions and inspired struggles for justice across Europe.

After a vibrant kickoff yesterday - Day 2 shifts into gear with powerful political education and collective reflection.

We begin with "LGBTQIA+ Liberation in the Face of the Reactionary Counter-Revolution," confronting the forces pushing back against queer freedom across Europe.

All participants arrived and jumped straight into activities - volleyball, kayaking, or simply unwinding in nature. 🏐🌊🧘‍♀️Starter packs were handed out to make tasks easier.

We wrapped up with a welcome session, camp guidelines, and a cozy campfire to spark connection and solidarity. 🔥✨️
