The socioeconomic model is failing and crumbling. It has not brought prosperity, but crisis after crisis. It is certain that the struggle for power is being controlled by the right. The far-right is contaminating politics; it's drawing the center to the right.

Her biggest triumph was the hegemony of ideas, the colonization of thinking that allowed neoliberalism to expand.

We need to have a clear, consistent ideological doctrine. We have to fight the neoliberal order and capitalism. We will change people's lives. We will fight climate change; we will be antiracist. Don't be afraid to say it.

We, the radical left, are the only alternative. We have to look for happiness to win.

In the Nordic countries, we have in recent years seen some of the best electoral results for left parties. In Germany, we saw the spectacular rise of Die Linke.

But this is not the whole story. Across Europe, there are stories about how alternatives can be created. In 2024, the Popular Front in France was able to become bigger than the fascists.

The traditional right-wing is opening the door to the extreme right and far-right. Sometimes they are in the doorway, holding the door and saying, 'Welcome,' and sometimes they are leaving the door open behind them.

The left has to be stronger and more united than ever. We have to defend what’s most important: the planet and human lives. We have to defend the Palestinians. Colombia has gone beyond basic solidarity: We banned the export of coal to Israel. We have to move from words to actions!
