Into the Edge Hill University Crime House today with my MSc Policing & Law Enforcement Investigation students on the Police Ethics, Integrity & Professionals Standards module. Students worked through a fatal police firearms discharge scenario.

Back to the 2007/8 Policing Pledge then. I remember it well. Wasn’t achievable then and isn’t now. Of all the things that might have been done with policing/community safety we get a re badged old policy. Is that it?
