Interesting. I've been doing the 16:8 thing for almost a year now and have lost significant weight, but for me it's only about calorie restriction, and I associate any other benefits with the resulting weight loss. The restriction comes from skipping a meal & limiting snacking to between two others.

The Devil and Miss Jones (1941) Pleasant left-wing fantasy from writer Norman Krasna about a grinchy billionaire who goes undercover among his employees to put down a labor movement & his heart grows three sizes. Excellent cast, strong direction. Great police station scene about nonviolent protest.
