its not like theyre NOT humorous but they absolutely have that Safeness to them. theyd probably rock a jackbox session thats at a party with little kids

i think liella/hasu are too normal to have really funny jackbox sessions; ren/mei and hime respectively would be like "hey lets all try this funny party game together :)" and after a couple of games they have a just okay time

i can see liella really liking monster seeking monster though

aqours would prob be the worst imo, maru doesnt know how like Most of the games work and mari/yoshiko/Sometimes dia can both take things too seriously and also rely on in jokes too much

u's are a good group to play together but theyre the kind of jb friend group that plays like One game every time

i think out of all the groups, i think nijigasaki and ikizulive would have the best jackbox game sessions with each other. lots of players, enough varied taste to have fun and be funny with a ton of the games, and relaxed/close enough to take all the gentle ribbing and in jokes in good jest

oh definitely. they used to keep group songs reserved for singles but after the anime (op/ed/insert/all their bsides) they got absolutely flooded and it never really stopped….

oohh i def can see the popularity being a factor, especially now the game they were made for not being a part of the equation anymore. i think they def tried to stick them a little to sif2 more (with fly with you solo lore) but that absolutely didnt work out either haha

and like!! it was fun in L!L!L! to see them switch up genres and paces with story reasons to go along with them, but they never really went back to pre anime/L!L!L! vibes and it makes me go :(

maybe im kinda precious about niji bc they were my first group i followed since their announcement but i really miss kanatas lullabies, emmas slower paced folk, and setsuna screaming in every solo. there was a kinda magic to each characters songs being so distinct and i think they lost it hard

semi related but like as much as i love niji, the anime/L!L!L! album i think absolutely destroyed some of the precedent the whole branch was building with its really character-centric songs. ESPECIALLY kanata; once butterfly/silent blaze were out her sleepy/princess song themings was gone for good

(that would require them to commit to their bit and actually take a chance on something drastically new but Drastically New Chances theyve done with superstar and hasu have payed off very well so like, heres hoping theyre not as scared to as they were with niji)

i think if bb stays solos and does more things like solo/small group meet and greets, keep their genres diverse (perhaps even to niji levels), and like physically keep their characters apart/in small groups like they have been story wise i think we could see something really unique out of love live

-like niji is basically a "group" branch a la liella/hasu who occasionally have more solos than the rest of the branches. i think hasu is doing what they wanted to do with niji vis a vis making their gimmick stronger than group songs, but with subunits instead of solos

like. listen. i love niji so much and some of their group songs are Certified Hood Classics but for being solo idols i think ll has been too scared to really hard commit to the thesis (like HAVING to hard group songs for op/ed/singles/ect) and since theyve backed down from solo voting it just feels-

finally listening to trick or toxic/love you save the earth and like. bluebird has had AMAZING composition so far, it genuinely reminds me of the years where nijigasaki music was really genre diverse and leaned into everyones strengths before they kinda lost the plot. please dont lose the plot bb
