I can understand the issue with Brosnan’s character tho. You’re not alone. Apparently, he got a lot of criticism for the accent which is funny because he is Irish. I guess it’s some regional dialect. Let me know what you think when you finish it. 👍

Agreed on The Gentleman. Probably my fav Guy Ritchie movie since Snatch/LS&TSB. I liked the series too.

Also, I should probably clarify, the characters are undeniably awful people. The performances were great though.

It doesn't have quite the level of wit and humor as other Guy Ritchie projects but that doesn't detract from the show. It was really good and I hope they do more seasons.

At first, I liked Maeve but was pretty impartial to Conrad. They both ended up stealing the show for me though! Don't get me wrong, Tom Hardy as Harry is great but those other two are just next level nutty.

I actually had the same question after watching Romulus and this was the consensus answer. The've evolved or were engineered to be a perfect organism and maximize survivability. The early lifecycle is short and efficient so that it can quickly defend itself. Also, sci-fi. 🤓

I completely understand this doesn’t apply to everyone though and there is still a place for it and that isn’t likely to change anytime soon, particularly in the business world. I just really don’t find it all that useful anymore and more of an annoyance than anything.
