The fact that "Clean Up Alabama" continues to put things like this in writing or speak in a public forum that is recorded with this messaging just tells me they have no idea what they're doing, trying to deny to everyone else that they in fact ARE book burners/banners.

Complete removal.

Waking up to the Alabama Legislative session being over - there's no greater feeling of relief! Next year will hopefully be a more moderate session with it being an election year for the full legislature and executive offices 🙏🏼

It took me a while to reckon with being from Alabama. While there is more than enough to be disappointed in or ashamed of, there's a good deal to be proud of too. You just have to hunt a little bit for it.

While that is a defining factor, it is not the only one. Would love to have you in the session where there will be time for discussion/questions afterwards

This learning session will not be from a Confederate Apologist POV. I want to provide social, political, and historical context for folks to understand the disenfranchisement perpetuated by our state's Constitutions
