This article is quite the follow-up from the previously posted article by @cbcnewz.bsky.social that essentially further demonstrates that misperceptions are being fuelled all over. It seems we are in the midst of a misinformation pandemic and it is only getting worse. Are we in the age of ignore?

I don’t have any plans for quitting bc nicotine is my medicine. It’s a stimulant & I have ADHD! Nicotine is not the problem, smoking commercially made cigarettes are with thousands of chemicals beyond nicotine! Why can’t we think about harm reduction for nicotine? I have not used cigarettes again. I quit e-cigarettes 3 times by using 0 mg juice. It was easy to control the amount of nicotine I used, however, BC prohibited 0 mg juice. So I’ve gone back to using more nicotine than ever before via gum. 2/3

My suggestion to flight attendants, if they want to force you back to work, go back but don’t do any unpaid work. They will realize pretty quickly that there will be no people on the plane! Let passengers board themselves. 2/

In 1992, I made a complaint to the labour board that I was working unpaid. This was deemed illegal & the company was ordered to not only pay for all hours of unpaid work but they also had to provide back-pay to employees who had been there for years. This bankrupted the company! 1/

It’s been almost three decades since I tested people’s drugs at parties. How is this still being discussed? Why can’t we just have a regulated drug market? None of this would be needed. Imagine going to a bar and needing to test your drink to determine if it is actually alcohol?

There is a chance he’d learn that too! When I rode horses in lessons, the teachers struggled with this all the time. They had to spell out every command however the horses would learn what that meant too! Many teachers ended up using hand commands. They didn’t seem to learn that!
