Is there a term for when you want both combatants in a fight to fail and be defeated? Like "bursting into flames and exploding like every scene in a Michael Bay movie" kind of defeat? Gotta be some fancy, cool word for that...

OK; in the spirit of "Something For Everyone" and inclusion, here's your MerMan for MerMay. Definitely to the "Bear" side of the spectrum, so maybe MerBear is the term we're going with on this one? You input is welcome on this one.

When you build with intention, the mathematics of forms will reveal themselves, and when we step out of the way and trust our eyes to make decisions, we are rewarded with all the things that we didn't plan on.

I've worked with the Abilene Texas roller derby team for many years now, and when they decided to change their team identity this year, I was happy to help them become the Holy Smokes. This design will be incorporated into new team uniforms, and used with all upcoming online and print materials.

Once again, I'm honored to be included in the love and support of my local club, and last night at Vortex was a really special one.
Full of hope and energy, borne of mix of loss and remembrance and community, it was a reminder that Vortex serves many purposes for many people in the community.

I designed this poster back in 2011; guess I was ahead of my time? Still, I dig how it turned out, the ability to show without showing. : ) Enjoy.
