A packed King’s Hall for last evening’s concert. The talented @joehearson.bsky.social has worked incredibly hard to make this a special first event for the City of Stoke-on-Trent Symphony Orchestra as they add a new string to the city’s classical bow in its centenary year.

It was a dream come true last weekend to conduct some of the music that made we want to become a musician in the very first place: Star Wars & ET. I’m privileged to work with first-rate musicians with the City of Stoke-on-Trent Symphony Orchestra and am so proud of what we’re building in the city.

A refreshing day up at Brockholes Nature Reserve to conduct one of the @thehalle.bsky.social Workplace Choirs.
I’ve driven past the Brockholes sign many times at Junction 31 of the M6, and always wondered what it was. Now I know, and it’s really beautiful!
