Man, one of the most depressing aspects of modern scholarship is finding a great article and then looking up the scholar to see what else they’ve done and just catching a glimpse of an abbreviated career hopping between visiting positions and publishing great pieces before disappearing from academia

Die erste Zugfahrt des Semesters und eine Mitreisende findet es völlig normal, den Ruhewagen für ihr Zoom-Meeting zu nutzen, weil (Zitat) „es hier ruhiger ist“.
Das liebe Damen und Herren, ist exakt das Trump MAGA Playbook. Passt dir das Wahlergebnis nicht, Zweifel es an, versuche mit absurden Ideen das ganze zu delegitimieren.
So schiebt man demokratische Vorgänge Richtung autoritäre Politik. Spahn ist genau so gefährlich wie die AfD.

Our flight was cancelled before we left Mumbai. We are NOT in transit in Dubai or Doha. We don't know when and how we will be able to fly out towards Germany but we are safe with friends back in Pune
