Found out today the hospital has granted us some financial aid. I fell on my knees & cried when I got the message. It shouldn’t be this way, but I’m so happy there will be some relief.

Trump said he's "recommending to Senate Republicans" that money going to insurance companies instead be sent to Americans to buy health care (from insurance companies).

Basically, that's what the ACA does, except money is in the form of subsidies. He just wants to send less and rename it Trumpcare

And with Fox “News” endorsement.

A year ago, my husband was in a storm accident. Broke his neck, back, sternum, and both feet. This January, I had a bad mammogram that resulted in me having a biopsy. We are both now okay but owe $15,000 in medical bills. It would have been $250,000 without the ACA. I’m so scared.

Hurting. I rely on ACA. Taught for 31 years, now am self-employed. Thought I could make it. Now I don’t know.

A Great Gatsby themed party…perfect! Nothing like the themes of greed, wealth, cheating, lies, excessive living, and not letting go of the past.

I also can’t get past the symbolism of East vs. West Egg = Old rich vs. Newly rich. Trump definitely aligns himself with elite aristocracy. (Although he’s now turning what was classic -the White House - into a tacky imitation of wealth.)

How this insanity isn’t an alarm to GOP moderates is beyond me.

Symbolic of his entire presidency and the sanctity of the rule of law.
