Life update: R and I bought a house!! We closed last Tuesday and have been emptying our apartment pretty much every night. To say I'm exhausted and overwhelmed is an understatement but I'm so happy💗💗💗💗💗

You're welcome 😁 they should give you an aftercare guide and/or have it on their website but don't be afraid to ask them questions!

Just keep it clean and moisturized. I use the gold Dial soap to wash it and aquaphor to moisturize. Depending on where it is try not to let it rub against clothes or get too much sunlight.

I understand things happen but like some of my colleagues act like they're at home in the bathroom and take forever😭😭😭

Omg last night we found out that the family who is selling the house was close to Rs late great uncle/godfather and the one brother is still in contact with R's aunt and uncle because of that and he's their chiropractor. Like what?????

Life update: After looking at 22 houses and making 3 offers, the 4th offer we made stuck and got accepted 😭😭😭 as long as we can make it until Tuesday without any other offer being taken we can move forward with getting a house!!!

Of all nights my body chooses last night to not let me sleep well 😭

I am very much in denial that when I wake up tomorrow I'm going back to work😭

Second to last day of break so I'm planning my classes for Thursday/Friday and cleaning so I can relax tomorrow😴

I didn't hit my reading goal on goodreads/storygraph so I simply lowered it to what I did do to make myself feel better 😂

I was very emotional writing R's Christmas card this year because it hit me that it's been 10 years since we first started talking on Tinder and now we're married and house hunting. 🥺 I never thought I'd find my person but I did, I really did.

If they're both on the same page it's fine but most people on that subreddit don't seem like they are 😂

I feel like 10+ years is "too" long because at that point you either want to or don't. I waited 8 and everyone thought I was crazy but I knew I wanted to be with him, ring or no ring. Be engaged before married depends on how long it took to get engaged lol. But it's really up to the couple.

Last day before break. 1:40 can't come fast enough🤘

Couldn't be me. I'd rather wake up early to let it air dry all day than blow dry it. I also feels like it looks worse when I blow dry it. 😂

Changed my name at work and now neither my new or old microsoft accounts work. But of course IT says they should.

I like the 1st of the month. It feels like a fresh start. Mostly for my budget 😂

I've been on my narcolepsy medication for about a week which means I haven't napped in about a week. Very weird since I used to nap at least every other day, almost daily.

It's crazy how many houses we've seen that don't have a formal dining room. Do people just not host anything?

Made a whole batch of pasta and as I was taking the strainer back over to the pot it slipped out of my hands and all the pasta fell onto the floor 😒

My friends thought it'd be a good idea to watch the first LOTR movie tonight (I haven't seen any of them). We didn't start it until almost 7 so we just got home. Clearly they're trying to kill me.

I wish bills had a "make 9 payments get 1 free" incentive or something 😭

On the radio they said the thing to do this year is gravy shots (add whiskey to a shot of gravy) and I want to vomit 🤢🤢🤢

We've been house hunting for about a month and today we saw our 12th house. I'm tired 😂
