Apparently finding a good food tracking app without calories being part of the tracking IS too much to ask for. I wish I knew how to make this sort of thing cause damn would it be nice to just scan/input my food without the app telling me all the extra info cause that's not helping.
Growing up I never understood how people could develop an eating disorder. Now that I'm facing the edge of that cliff and scrambling to pull myself up, the path leading me to this point was way too easy to go down.

Had to give the basil a haircut and resist the urge to nab this pepper today. The garden is thriving!
As someone that HATES the color yellow, I do not understand why I have such an obsession for lemons and sunflowers.
Gave the garden some quick love this morning. Lime has quite a bit of new growth coming in. Peppers have been loving the heat but the star is the heirloom tomatoes. Rough count of 18 tomatoes on that plant alone.
Wake and bake and bake results in weekend mornings spent baking and deep cleaning the kitchen. Starter fed and muffins cooling, cant wait to try my hand and my first sourdough loaf.
ideally the project you choose should take you no more than 15 minutes to complete. this breaks up the monotony of the task and gives you something different to do. but since its also satisfying you get that lil boost to get you through the task you are trying to finish.

if you are struggling with a task, like laundry, hide a quick wip into the pile. if it's a larger pile, hide a second one near the bottom of the pile. work till you reach the project, pause the task to enjoy the project, then get back to the pile. rinse and repeat.
For the past two days I've played the division with the youngest. At his request. And both times he told me how much he loves gaming with me. He's 16. And he hung out with me at his request. The world may be crumbling around us but I offer a moment of pure happiness to breakup the doom scrolling.

Woke up this morning and stepped on the scale. My lovelies, I've officially hit 50 pounds down from last year, 30 of those pounds have been since the hubs and I decided to focus on getting our bodies in better health just 6 months ago.
My current progress is slow but it's still progress!

The WIP has officially been turned into a FO. Ends woven in and even run through the wash.
Kids fly in for the summer Saturday and I expect this gets stolen within the first 24 hours. (the youngest was nicknamed blanket thief for a damn reason)
My current goal is to knock out lingering WIPs. This damn blanket was started pre-covid 🫣 gonna finish off the row of yellow and call it done. No need to prolong its unfinished existence wishing to make it massive when it's already big enough to enjoy.

Earth Witch's Roots is officially done. She got a bath. Zelda of course went crazy when I set it. But she's dry and ready to go sit in my tote of finished yarn til I either find the perfect project or someone convinces me to sell it.
