For anyone who would like to turn off the annoying Copilot AI feature in MS Word:

You don't need a visa to visit the UK for a tourist trip or a short work trip. You need an electronic travel authorisation (ETA). UK travellers to the USA have to get something very similar.

Recently replaced our 25 year old gas boiler with a heat pump. All good so far. Not cheap (even with government subsidy) but bills are down significantly. Had the gas supply disconnected so I don't pay a standing charge and switched to Ovo heat pump tariff.
