On this day, it rained hard. We got a short window to hike in. Strong rain means murky water, so characteristic of the season here. The trees have curvy, artistic branches... and this rock face in the back brought the lovely igneous orange color out from the prominent black basalt of the Sahyadri.

Journey to Fugtal:
One of the remotest monasteries of the time. BetterTogether Community by @trupti.kulkarni.716, writer and poetess who encouraged me to share this journey yesterday. I did it for the first time after almost twelve years.

Here I have some of my favorite experiences in the mountains, and the grand light show! From dramatic thunderstorms to golden alpenglow, fiery sunsets, and mystical aurora, every moment reveals nature's incredible artistry. Capturing diverse mountain lights is a journey of observation and wonder.

Silence in the Streams? ..Don't these creeks have a purely earthly ability to forget everything?

With the continuous running water, our mind stay still. You listen very closely, and every syllable comes to you. You stay there long enough, and syllables together become its song.

Nature has abundance, and it has so much to give!

My images are not exclusive to the rich. However, my teaching is only for those who are passionate.

Every day around the world, magic happens somewhere. Moments like these, where I discover such magic, further my belief in not chasing, but discovering my own.

My idea was to find and photograph the coast with the flowers. The location of some flowers and compositions did not attract as much attention as the light. Let's not forget pictures are memories of what we see and experience.

Every forest, every flower
blossom in silence.
Every leaf, every dewdrop,
shines in the sunlight with iridescence.
How can I say there is silence,
How can I say I am alone
I hear a song, full of forest life
So many hearts, yet sing as one.

The conditions at this iconic lighthouse in the Pacific Northwest were incredible: rising mist, clouds, filtering light, crashing waves, flying birds, and a rotating beacon.

Some mountains in the world have a spell on many hearts. Even when you have no intention to shoot at a particular moment, even when it is a roadside location, or you have seen this mountain a hundred times before in every condition possible...Yet you can't resist... that's a spell.

Just a few moments before the sun came out of the clouds, I found this rock on the southern Oregon coast with sea stars clinging to it. The tide had already reached the lowest point, and now it was about to turn around. I could see a wave or two approaching now. Wonder what the stars were thinking,

On a cold February morning, I started my day at 1:30 a.m. by driving to the Oregon coast to see the sunrise. While the sunsets on this coast have more dramatic backlighting, sunrises provide more pastel colors. Yet, when the conditions of the clouds are right, it is a treat!

The very northern Oregon coast. The sea stacks seem to be marching into the ocean. The sun had disappeared from the horizon. High clouds lingered. The tide was slowly rising, approaching the empty shore. Darkness was also about to crawl in slowly. The fight for survival was to get harder again!

At the approaching king tide, I saw the waves trying to knock the sandstone out of the land and into the sea. The calmer blue waters had disappeared. Now there was chaos of waves, splashes, thumping sounds, churning, retreating from the rocks.

It was a quiet morning at one of the most intriguing places I have seen by the sea. However, standing here, watching the clouds and rising sun paint the sky, was worth the effort of scrambling. It was a low tide, and the Winds were calm. The dark aqua green water showed no intention of waking anyone

Water... One is an infinite source, crashing against the rocky shore, and the other, flowing from a mountain, rushing toward the other. A large sea stack stands on the beach, trees rising from its top. High clouds stand behind while the golden light strokes the jumping creek.

Washington Coast is much more than what I captured in these iconic places. I know I may be going for the low-hanging fruits now, however, I am so curious and excited to find secrets this amazing shoreline has hidden.
