Thank you all for joining me this evening. I wound up playing #AlanWake after all. Thanks to community member Helix, we wound up getting all of the missing manuscript pages! We also completed Episode 6 proper, which is to say with working sound that'll appear on the VOD when I get it uploaded! (1/2)

I do, but that's going to be a thing unto itself. FNAF 1 in real-time; a true shift lasting for six hours.

Do I try streaming when I'm tired, have an upset stomach, and am still harboring self-loathing over my mistakes last night? I probably shouldn't, but I'm going to anyway! But what are we going to play? I'm burnt out on #AlanWake after last night; I don't want to do all~ that work again. Any ideas?

After all of that hard work, it turns out I'd forgotten to turn my Twitch audio channel back on. So the next VOD is going to have 4 1/2 hours consisting mostly of clicks of a mouse and taps of a keyboard; no in-game audio. We're going to need to redo all of tonight's progress again and then some...

And the worst part? Even if you successfully appeal the audio issue and get the VOD restored to the way it was, the trimmed version will be the only one you still have access to if you choose to download it. So I've got 3 1/2 minutes of video just *gone* from my latest VOD; no way of recovering it.

So, ignoring the unfortunate loss of Internet last night, I've figured out what happened with that one VOD that lost time. Twitch has made it so when you download it all sections that have muted audio in them will be automatically trimmed out. Completely. Not just the audio but the footage as well.

There is nothing more inevitable than change! ♻️

Have any of you had an instance where you've downloaded a VOD from Twitch with the intent of uploading it to YouTube, only to find that the downloaded version is somehow shorter? Because that's the case for #81.2. On Twitch it's 3h04m33s, whereas the downloaded one is 02h58m33s. Like... WTF?! 😵
