Just learned about the passing of one of my all-time favorite message boarders, the great Moon Man. He apparently passed over the last few months.
Smart, quick the barb, kind of heart, and one of the funniest motherfuckers around. A true treasure, gone way too soon.
RIP, good sir.

Opinion | My Bosses Were Afraid of Crossing Trump. So, I Quit.
A veteran journalist opens up on the censorship that he says led to his resignation.
Alan Greenblatt walked away from his position as editor of Governing last week because his bosses kept telling him to spike stories that were critical of Trump.
On Tuesday, Oct. 28th, I will be interviewing him on this subject at a Substack Live Video. Join in at 1PM MT / 3PM ET that day!

Thanks. It will be interesting, as tax increases by the state government in Missouri often require voter approval, via the Hancock amendment. Medicaid expansion was also approved via a constitutional amendment. So it will be battling amendments.

Forgive my stupidity, but what do the constraints on raising state funds mean for states (like MO) where the expansion was done by Constitutional amendment than statute. My understanding is the MO state government is still on the hook for the Medicaid expansion even without federal funds.

There are two weeks left in the UFL. Battlehawks now host the conference and league championships. They get conference because of stadium availability. They got league because of our attendance.
So last two weeks of the league are pretty meaningless.
