An inevitable stand-off created by this Court’s distorted interpretation of the 14th Amendment to require colorblindness. How can a legislature could draw districts that don’t violate the Voting Rights Act w/o looking at race? It can’t be done. But the Court’s rightwing could not care less.

“There are roughly 246 permanent, full-time employees, mostly scientists, employed by the Pacific Northwest Research Station, according to its website. Offices for both are located in Portland. It’s unclear if employees would be able to keep their jobs and relocate or if there will be cuts.”

Due to Congressional Republican cuts, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting will permanently close its doors. The CPB was responsible for stewarding federal funding of local public media outlets across the nation. This is a massive loss for the American people.

This is no time to go high. If GOP states redraw maps, then Democratic states should redraw maps.

Give the same energy. They will never play fair or by the rules. Ever.

I think a lot of people simply don't realize how often and significantly initial economic figures get revised. The alternative is just waiting three months or longer. But nobody wants to do that either.

The Smithsonian said it will restore information about President Trump’s two impeachments to an exhibit “in the coming weeks.”

The Washington Post had previously reported that in July, the museum removed a placard describing Trump's impeachments.
