Did y'all know you can just drop yourself down in google earth and trace what you needs for backdrops??

This isn't even an "interesting" place, it's just a small valley in Mongolia that happened to match the vibe I needed (combination of dumb luck and intuition)

Aseprite is my go to tool for pixel art and animation. I think the only think it's truly lacking is audio support

Life advice for the ages. Those doing wrong want you tired and hopeless. But stay angry. And when a chance is in front of you: bite back.

As others suggested, try a softbox and if that's not possible, try to position your sources of light (2 preferred) at an an angle of 45 degrees or higher, so that light doesn't reflect back to your camera
