Imagine starting an actual war to distract from you being a horrible old nonce.

The Gorton and Denton byelection meant tactical voting to keep out Reform - isn't it time to get rid of slot machine politics with First-Past-The-Post?
Ask your MP to campaign for PR to be added to the new "Representation of the People" bill. (1 of 2)

The Representation of the People Bill is a rare chance to renew our democracy - yet it ignores the voting system driving chaos and disillusionment.
We need MPs standing up for fair votes in this upcoming debate. Urge your MP to attend: actionnetwork.org/letters/repr...
Not been good enough today. Lacked spark. Hard to put your finger on what the precise problem is.

Saw Operation Mincemeat at The Lowry in Salford this afternoon. Absolutely wonderful. Such clever stage production and a stunning display of versatility from so small a cast. Christian Andrews as Hestor stole the show for me. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house for ‘Dear Bill’. Marvellous stuff!

📮 Full text of the letter calling on the Government to engage with the growing risks First Past the Post now presents
✍️ Signatories include leading academics, political scientists and constitutional experts - including a former Chief Executive of the UK Electoral Commission
👇 Read it in full
🚨 Over 50 leading academics have sounded the alarm on the UK's voting system
⚠️ In an era of multi-party politics, First Past the Post risks “random and arbitrary” results like never before
🗳️ The experts' letter warn Ministers they must address this to stem growing instability and distrust
Mate I never use it. Don’t miss it at all. When people say “oh my god how do you survive without it?” it is just habit. There’s loads of stuff out there just as cheap and just as easy to buy AND you’re not funding one of the world’s most awful humans.

Two things:
1) This is top quality punning. I mean bra-actual-vo
2) Am I going to have to be the person who says that ‘Igor Tudor’ is clearly a made up name and that that is obviously Nicholas Cage?
I don’t have time for any extra plans. My entire weekend is spoken for with trying to prise this amulet out of the grip of a Victorian mannequin I found in an abandoned monastery.
Probably just make some pasta after that.
I tell you what mind Danny Zuko has let himself slide.
12.02.2026 10:29 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0If Jim Ratcliffe is worried about the UK being “colonised by immigrants” then he could increase the population of white English speakers by 1 by coming back & paying his tax. I know there’ll always be clever tax arrangements but even 2 of the £4bn he’s avoided would transform say the court system.

On 11th February.
Some effort for any team that. For the team that came up through the playoffs that’s positively Herculean.
A crypto investor just donated £9 million to the Reform Party. Right now, billionaires can pour unlimited money into our elections, effectively buying our democracy. Think that's wrong? Add your name to call for a cap on donations today: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/ta...

Very very powerful video on the Trump video showing the Obamas as apes.
This is a distraction ploy by Trump but it nevertheless behoves anyone with even the vaguest shred of humanity to call out this shameful racism and bring those who perpetrate it to justice.

Effective opposition is holding an administration to account and ensuring the delivery of services.

He’s scared. This is distraction. It’s so unquestionably racist that he wants us all to focus on this at the expense of everything else. Yet to be released epstein files?
This is a man who hears the ice cracking beneath his feet.

Poor this from the BBC. They have a whole feed on Dan Thomas (no me neither) becoming the new leader of Reform UK in Wales and they haven't even bothered to tell us which hostile foreign power he is a spy for. Shoddy.

Do not accept that his ascension is inevitable. It absolutely isn't.
Fight.
Fight every day to stop him and to create a genuinely fair, decent, tolerant and prosperous country for everyone.
Nothing is inevitable. The bad guys, for that is what they are, do not have to win and this shows it.
Burnley were rubbish but we were awesome across the park. Diarra, Brobbey, Le Fée stood out but we were great all over.
And Talbi. Good God son. That keeper has a family.
