📌HF incidence: 3.6/1,000 🕺 vs. 1.72/1,000 💃 (P<0.001).

📌Strongest risk factors: MI in 🕺 (HR: 2.61), #AFib in 💃 (HR: 4.10).

📌#HTN & obesity contributed most to HF risk: HTN (25% men, 29% women), obesity (16% 🕺, 21% 💃).

The Association of Echocardiographically Measured Donor Left Ventricular Mass and 1-Year Outcomes After Heart Transplantation:

Happy to share our work developing a method for matching heart transplant donors-to-recipients using echo-derived donor left ventricular mass (LVM) for size matching which improved outcomes (especially in obese patients).
