I normally could give a shit what drugs anyone chooses to consume. Plenty of people can be productive and use all kind of drugs even every day. But when that person is an unelected official gutting our government, then the rules should apply just like it does to low level workers they're firing.

Thanks for the clarification. Those numbers seemed low to me so looked up the total for 2024 in Canada which was around 6,000 though the data is only through September. But multiple that by 7 to equal US population and you have about half the overdose rate per capita we do. Harm reduction works.

What drug is that for? Cause the amount of overdoses from all illicit substances combined was just over 80,000 in 2024.
