The barrier to entry for learning how to design stuff is lower than ever. Between Blender and now Affinity being free, there’s pretty much zero incentive to pay for Adobe or other expensive software!

Plenty of open resources out there for the necessary knowledge and tips to help you learn too!

It’s pretty awesome seeing the decision to make V3 of the Affinity creative suite free. I still have my license for Affinity Designer V1 but it looks like it’s time to upgrade.

I had no idea Serif got acquired by Canva until I found out about the new Affinity release!
