From Factory Floors to Artificial Intelligence: Leading with Catholic Social Wisdom of Joseph Cardijn First, I wrote this with “baby boomers” in mind. I want to honor the extraordinary journey we’ve all witnessed. We’ve seen the world transform from typewriters to tablets, from rotary phones to smartphones, from factory assembly lines to robots that can write poetry. But here’s what hasn’t changed: the fundamental questions about human dignity, work, community, and purpose. (Think Cardijn, think the Encyclicals, think the Documents of Vatican II.)

I wrote this mainly for my generation of "baby boomers." But it is food for thought for all generations!

Healthy lakes are critical for our economy: By Julie Peller Ph.D. Green Junction                 Invasive carp (bighead and silver carp, also called Asian carp) are native to China but invasive in the United States. These fish were introduced to America in the 1970s, when fish farms in the southern part of the country used carp to clean aquaculture facilities because they are filter feeders. It is speculated that when the facilities flooded, Asian carp escaped into local rivers and, by the 1980s, were found in the Mississippi River basin.

Obama: As for the president, he has been focused on critical issues like paving over the rose garden so folks don't get mud on their shoes and gold plating the Oval Office and building a ballroom… If you can't visit a doctor, don't worry. He will save you a dance.

Adelita Grijalva now holds the record for longest delay between winng a special Congressional election and being sworn into office.

Why the delay from Mike Johnson?

Perhaps it's because Grijalva would cast the final vote needed to release the Epstein files.

The love of God and the love of neighbor are the same. So who is my neighbor? All those who are created in the image and likeness of God. Better known as human beings.

Between Clicks and Contemplation: Reclaiming the Sacred in the Digital Age Between Clicks and Contemplation: Reclaiming the Sacred in the Digital Age Before we begin, I want to ask you something. And I want you to be honest—at least with yourself. How many of you checked your phone in the last ten minutes? Yeah. Me too. Look, I'm not here to shame anyone. I'm not going to tell you to throw your phone in a river or delete all your apps—though honestly, some days that sounds pretty tempting.

Maybe we should stop giving presidents cognitive tests and start giving them history tests and see what those scores look like. Our presidents should have deep knowledge of US history, a sense of empathy for the struggles of all citizens

Think about the lack of education one has to have to make this statement from Trump about running for a third term. He conceded that “based on what I read, I guess I’m not allowed to run.” 79 yrs old and he now reading about this? Our president ms should be well versed in history.
