Bruce Arthur: Travis Dhanraj aimed to reveal ‘editorial imbalance’ at the CBC. What the former TV host told MPs was more about him Dhanraj’s “editorial imbalance” complaint, aired Tuesday at the federal heritage committee, appears to be that the CBC hired him to host a news show, but he wanted to do more politics. So there was fr...

Mr. Arthur in @TheStar.com gets the Travis Dhanraj nothing burger exactly right: a feast for CBC hating neofascist nutbars and nobody else.

Aaron Gunn: If the federal government truly believes in the private property rights of Canadians, they should probably stop opening every public meeting by proclaiming the gathering on the “unceded territory” of this or that First Nation.
Doing so reinforces the radical and dangerous legal concept that most Canadians live on “stolen land”. This is Canada. One country. For all Canadians. 𝗠𝗣 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

Chiefs from four First Nations communities are urging the public to please approach Aaron Gunn with no caution whatsoever. He is completely harmless, though momentarily unsettled by the alarming possibility that someone might acknowledge the land before a meeting.
Yesterday on social media, the MP appeared to crash out and demand to speak to the manager of land acknowledgements, a position that observers confirm does not exist.
Chiefs whose territories make up the riding had two words for the MP - Chillax, Bud.
Land acknowledgements have never seized private property, cancelled a mortgage, repossessed a pickup truck, or altered a single title deed anywhere in Canada.
They are simply people recognizing the history of the place where they are standing.
No one is going anywhere. Canada will survive the brief moment of honesty.
Until then, Chiefs across the region continue to reassure the public that land acknowledgements have not, to date, resulted in any land back.

Conservative MP for Powell River–North Island, Aaron Gunn, is, uh, well he’s being trolled a bit for his condemnation of land acknowledgements yesterday. Message from K’omoks, Klahoose, Homalco & Tla’amin Nations: “Chillax, bud.” #bcpoli

Galley talking about it being controversial over having fowler start instead of monty.

Again - WRONG! Not one habs fan wanted monty in tonight

Gary Galley is not ok. Something is wrong with him. He watches this team once a week. You can't be this out to lunch unless something is wrong with you. Otherwise, he's just a troll.

The sad thing is, Gary Galley calls a habs game once a week. He's either gaslighting habs fans or something is wrong with him, medically in the brain

Sportsnet produces horrible NHL content. Isn't it great they own the rights for another decade? 🤢

I can't stand him. I've never felt this way about someone in 42 years of watching hockey as a professional.

I am in their corner. It's a hard job. I can't stand him.

Why Reinbacher needs a call up. Our D might have some big bodies but Matheson and Dobson don’t play heavy. Reinbacher has some SOB in him and is a right shot.

After all those missed calls on the #GoSensGo, they’re gonna call that on #Hutson.

No idea why he has a set spot in the lineup? He should be on rotation with Struble and Xhekaj.

Second game in a row - same play that winds up in the back of the net. A failed breakout after a face-off win.

This!

This is the riding I live in - he's a disgrace. How could anyone have saw it coming? Easy - just pay attention to your candidates and what they say or do in their past. It was clear this guy cozied up to incels and being disrespectful to people. Now a traitor.

That missed call was just blatant negligence by the official. Result - Matheson blocks an unnecessary shot and may be hurt.
#NHL - why do we even watch?

This is why game management matters. You give a team with nothing going break after break after break and eventually they get sometthing.

Xhekaj was playing really good tonight. But he takes a penalty, so his night is over. On this topic - MSL can f*ck right off. It's a shame we will never know what he can be in a #Habs uniform.
