A quadruped creature called a Spinedog. This one has african wild dog like markings mixed with cheetah in a pale coloration with black spines and red jewels.

Their naming convention is usually an object or maybe a more conventional name plus a mineral they associate with. So this is Rainer Ruby and my neon green one is Hook Sulphur.
