This indictment isn’t about the law, it’s about political revenge directed by Donald Trump at someone he deems his enemy. There’s a reason why both the U.S. Attorney and career prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia refused to bring forward this baseless indictment against New York Attorney General Letitia James — and why they were replaced by a hand-picked, unqualified sycophant with no prosecutorial experience. Donald Trump doesn’t care about the law or an independent Department of Justice. Weeks ago, Trump publicly demanded the weaponization of our justice system and today, the department dutifully carried out his orders. This is a line that cannot be uncrossed. The DNC joins the Democratic Attorneys General Association in condemning this politically motivated attack on Attorney General James. And we encourage Americans everywhere, of any and all political affiliations, to stand against Donald Trump’s attempts to co-opt the government for retribution and intimidation.

Trump is operating with revenge in mind, not the rule of law.

All servicewomen serving in combat roles already have to meet stringent gender-neutral physical standards.

But Secretary Hegseth is intent on smearing those women as unqualified — and pushing all women out of military service.

Still, I've grown so tired of the "Rich man, poor man" schtick that seems to get the MAGA rubes buzzing. It's a good thing to keep them questioning and it is true that billionaires hate all of us, but more of them use the same SPF sunscreen that I do, if you know what I mean.

I like what Bernie has to say about what the standard of living in America should be vis-a-vis healthcare and income equality, but the more people of color (women of color especially) I see point out that he keeps missing the mark on stuff like this, the more I think "Hm..."

While I don't have a dog in this particular fight, I feel like the same thing goes for anybody of any ethnic/racial group that thinks Trump is their guy just cuz they can point to one thing.
