Where is everyone working at their leathercraft?
I’m in the Australian Subtropics. It certainly has its challenges keeping leather clean, dry but not too dry, and the humidity makes tools very unhappy.
I’m always open to suggestions on storage, cleaning, etc.
I’m in an open shed. Challenging.
Made a prototype of my first bifold and will make a few veg tan and chrome tan ones this weekend after learning what worked and what did not work with this one.

The sound of the leather under the knife calms me. I can work for hours, joyfully, mindfully. It’s like having my own ASMR channel plugged directly into my brain.
The view when taking a break helps me stay peaceful.
