There's a road near me that's 30, but people think it's 50, even though it has a primary school on it and zebra crossings and I routinely see people either speeding or texting. As a frequent driver, pedestrian and cyclist myself; drivers are the fucking worst.

My daughter has a pretty unusual, very Irish-sounding name, which means when strangers ask me her name, the conversation suddenly becomes peppered with Gaeilge and I get asked for recommendations about how to learn. She's like my wee fáinne airgid.
