Our Andrew Robinson has been hard at work installing the new exhibition, Invasion of the Saucermen, at the Old Post Hall in Sheffield. Here’s a sneak preview… join us for the opening on Wednesday 11 March, 5-7pm.
The Green party has been unapologetically supportive of trans people and they took a seat from Labour after they gave cracked down on trans people. Liberal parties cannot abandon trans people without losing their base.
Happy Friday! 👻
Accidental Aardman.
Allow the British public to believe for even one second that they don't need to vote for "the lesser evil" and Labour will evaporate like a thin trickle of piss on a hot rock

Whoompf, fascinating stuff, demographic modelling suggests Neanderthal admixture in modern humans was largely driven by Neanderthal males having children with modern human females.
Excellent news to wake up to this morning
In more BABAO Sale of Human Remains Taskforce news, we did an interview with David Burke from The Mirror a couple of weeks ago, it's now online 👇
(TW for human remains images, apologies, I can't do anything about the thumbnail)

Yeah most people just assume it is (nd why wouldn't you?!). It's all pretty grim stuff

That's already covered by HTA, and as Bell stated there would likely be exemptions. And this bill shouldn't interfere with repatriation/reburial as these aren't things where the actual remains are exchanged for cash (and really, repatriation is a separate isdue). It's literally a bill to cover sales
You should have seen mine and Trish's faces when we had a Teams call earlier 😂
I'm absolutely over the moon 😁
Great news: it got a second reading!! Amazing job by @bellribeiroaddy.bsky.social

The bill got a second reading!!!
I think that every time I see the headline of a Guardian article written by Adrian Chiles
What's that you say!
It was all just fear pushing by bad faith groups and that trans women pose no threat to cisgender women.

I’m going to second this!

Excellent that we may be on the way to banning the sale of human remaining the UK. Congratulations to the British Association of Biological Anthropologists Task Force for getting it this far. It’s been a grey area because there’s no legal ownership for human remains.
We've been working super hard towards this for *years*. Still a long way to go, but it's great to see it's being brought to the UK Commons. Super proud of our Taskforce and everything we've achieved so far.

One out of 12 rams is uninterested in females. Deemed “non-procreative" by farmers, they're typically sent to slaughter. German farmer Michael Stücke rescues the gay rams. His company Rainbow Wool, sells fabulous wool products from his flock of gay sheep. rainbow-wool.com
New video about our #Roman cemetery just dropped!
