Quick attempt at The Veldt. There’s something funky going on with notes sounding a bit garbled, like they’re changing pitch mid note. Will have to spend more time learning the OXI One to see what I might have done wrong.

That’s the OXI One MIDI controller. It’s really versatile for such a small gadget.

We have one as a work truck for horse stuff but also have to use it for a family vehicle. The short bed is too short for a lot of work and yet it’s too big to park easily in many places in the city. Alternative is multiple vehicles but who wants that?

In software, the alpha release is usually the first one with the worst quality and most limited feature set. Beta is usually much more stable but still a work in progress. Just sayin’.

25 years ago, I was on the Windows Shell team at Microsoft and was in charge of testing the time/date control panel in multiple versions of Windows. We all held our breath as 1999 rolled to 2000 and nothing happened.
