As fucked as my history is with Roleplaying… I kind of miss it. It was used against me by adults when I was a stupid kid, but I grew to love storytelling even more through forum roleplays; even if they weren’t appropriate.

Two cents adult opinion here:

I don't care if you're a virgin or not. If you write smut, at the VERY least make it enjoyable. Readers can tell if you don't like writing it or don't find enjoyment in it.

Just saying! Smut is tantalizing and is SUPPOSED to be, regardless of who the writer is.

I've never done proper TTRPG romance with another player as a player.

I've had players romance my NPCs, but my bitch ass never romanced a fellow player.

I've noticed it more from castings done on Casting Call Club more than anything, which in itself is "hmm".

Still, even if the project is unpaid, project producers still talk and are now more open to exchanging names of warning to others.

It's just not a good look to ghost a project without reason.

As a casting director myself, I've vetted through THOUSANDS of talents. All of them are serious and dedicated to doing the job as the field is not kind. At all.

If you cannot take the job/role seriously, don't apply and waste everyone's time. You only make yourself look stupid and untrustworthy.

So there seems to be a weird trend of people auditioning for indie projects, getting cast in them, then suddenly ghosting their roles. Whatever the reason is, this is becoming a concern.

If you are cast in something, have some respect for the project. There are others who'd kill for your place.
