If you are a casting director, you cannot half-ass the job. You are setting up a project to have vocal representation and you need to make sure the project has the best talents for that responsibility.
That means: wait until deadline, sit your ass down with coffee, and listen to EVERY AUDITION.
This may be a warm take in the field of casting for projects, but if anyone ends up in the position, take this advice:
Do not listen to ANY auditions before a deadline.
You will DESPERATELY want to filter ahead of time for sanity.
Don't. You'll mentally pre-cast and ignore the later submissions.

As a MASSIVE theorist myself, when I approach a new story, I always remind myself that I am not the writer. I may recognize tones, themes, symbolisms, and directions, but I am not the one who paved the road or decorated the sidewalks.
My theories are mine and it's okay if they're wrong.
Theorizing can be fun. I also see people theorize themselves into a corner, imagining a completely different show w completely different characters from what's intended. Largely, I ignore this and make what I'm gonna make but, I hope people go into KOG with open minds bc (1/4)
From here on in, my theories are against my chest until they are proven or not.
