The map provides an overview of UN member and observer states that have not signed the 1951 Convention nor the 1967 Protocol. The figure indicates that the majority of these non-signatory states are in the Middle East and South Asia.
Over the past four years, the BEYOND project has conducted empirical case studies in Lebanon, Pakistan, TΓΌrkiye and Bangladesh, examining their relationships with international refugee law.
