The big main swimming pool in Govanhill Baths, empty and with the focus on the big beams of the arched ceiling. They have been painted red to match the balconies and the paint is peeling in a spectacular fashion.

A round, porthole looking window in the upstairs room which was formerly slipper baths - single baths each in their own cublicle. The wall is covered in beautiful old tiles, with some cracked and damaged ones where pipes have once been.

Brilliant wee research trip to Govanhill Baths and archives today, preparing for a tour we're creating for the 25th anniversary of the occupation of the building.

Excellent, long may you avoid it. I’ve heard it’s so relentless cos Glasgow courts cover greater Glasgow (making it one of biggest jurisdictions in Europe), but jurors are only drawn from Glasgow city council area. So once you’re on their system you’re just getting cited mercilessly, forever

My mum‘s now exempt but still gets cited and gleefully tells them to stuff it every time so you might still get the satisfaction!

Ah commiserations - they are relentless!

Ah, time for my six monthly citation for jury duty. Glasgow courts like those big grim lizards that bite you then just follow you for miles while the poisoned saliva gradually kills you. Once you’re In their sights you will never ever escape them
