For Unreal specifically I've been using Diversion and it's pretty frictionless, highly recommend.
For Unity I've gotten along decently well with GitHub.

I've been getting a huge amount of use out of this add-on. Really recommend it.
The vast majority is also a single texture which, like much of my work, is laziness rebranded as skill.
It's a few years old now so some parts definitely make me wince, but I'm still pretty happy with how this scene came together. A rare example of me finishing a project.
