Some of the hardest things about finishing a project:
- squishing the self doubt and worry that "it's not good enough"
- finding the motivation and focus for whatever is next (despite the list of things to do)
- knowing the best way and time to promote the finished project (without feeling awkward)

Feels like a while since I've sat down and played a computer game, and tonight I finally got the chance to play Chants of Sennaar. And yes, I'm late to the game (as usual) but I love it! Languages are fascinating, whether real or fictional. I wish I had the brain to learn or make one!

Another update: it won't be finished this week unfortunately, but (unless something disastrous happens) it will be released next week!! It's going to feel so odd to finally have it released in the wild!

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Wandering Library Expanded Edition update: I have just finished the penultimate illustration and soon will get started on the final one! This could be the most challenging one of them all, but fingers crossed I can still meet my deadline of the end of the week! 🤞🏼
