I had a cat who never ended up liking my other one. But, sometimes, they had their moments of sleeping together.

I think it all depends on the cat and the personality.

The growling won’t be forever. It’s just some time that is needed. He needs to get used to hanging around the kitten. So, it’s best to let it naturally roll out.

Some cats just don’t vibe with others, right off the bat. Hopefully, he’ll realize that the kitten is okay in his book.
