Gotta love how you fight "Ork Jr." first. Then you get into the woods and encounter "Ork," and it's a grown up version of "Ork Jr." And it's like, "Oh! I was killing their children."

That's emergent storytelling right there.

There's a reason why even after all these years, Quest 64 hasn't fallen into the pit of obscurity that consumed so many "better" games of the era.

The people who made it cared - even if they couldn't fully deliver their vision. And that love shines through every pixel.

Remember when I finished #Quest64 earlier this year? 😏
