Did you know. That the meme-explosion that was the wooden model of Sacabambaspis (an Ordovician jawless fish) held at a Museum in Helsinki, was created by a pioneering Estonian fish paleontologist and palaeoartist, Elga Mark-Kurik. 🧵

Two digital sketches on one page. Top: a big pterosaur, Infernodrakon, is stretching on the big fallen tree, that goes across the forest like a bridge. Wings are nicely folded together, one leg supports the body and another one is in the air, stretching. The tail is up and fluffy. Bottom: just a silly Araripesuchus jumping around, it's captured with the eyes closed and mouth open, so the creature looks extra happy. Yippie!

A digital drawing of a modern horse (about 150cm tall) and a little Eohippus that is standing on its back, to show how small it was. The drawing is simple, just two animals on a dark background, with two stars shining above them, connected by a thin line. It's just a quick drawing that i'll probably use for a size chart in the future, if i continue to work on reconstructing more horse ancestors. (and if i'm being completely honest, it was just an excuse to do a boring horse study, that's all)

working on early horses, i wanted to do a quick sketch to show how small Eohippus was compared to an extant horse (this one is about 150cm tall). as you can see, it wasn't big at all. a perfect little lap horse :)

I've always liked fairies so I sketched #wendy as a spider lily fairy a bit ago. #webber is a house spider sprite. I've drawn a couple other #dontstarvetogether things. Here are my #silkandpetals fae designs though!

Its fingertips and back paws have white dusting. The pink long sleeved shirt has a yellow star with a blue ring on it. It has a long tail that starts with dark purple, turns black, has a lighter blue band, black again, and ends wifh lighter purple. Its legs are splotched with purple and blue to imitate galaxy patterns. Small gold spots replicate stars. It stands against a background of purples with gold in a stylization of the Milky Way. Gold sparkles are placed around the void dog.
