I've few illusions on sheer complexity of the issues. Still think Schumer should find roads of action, not briefings. Yes, hard part is id'ing the roads.

Nothing vague about being frustrated by politicians to seem to be only talk. Nothing handwavy about being fearful for the country or the risk of an unnecessary war.

It's exactly a matter of yielding different results.

Schumer wastes his position merely casting the regime as untruthful. News sources + other politicians do that.

So he can't directly force the regime. Then use his 25+ yrs experience to lead, influence & inspire action that would force changes.

If the administration hasn't presented their case nor their future plans... at least not truthfully, why should this demand for a briefing yield different results?

If Schumer's statement is truly his response versus just a press release, it and he are weak when opposing strength is needed.

Schumer calls the administration reckless, effectively says they lied to him three separate times regarding their objectives, and says all Americans should be fearful as Trump intends to run Venezuela.

Yet all Schumer wants is... a briefing.

He has 25+ years experience in the Senate, 4 of that as Majority Leader, 5 as Minority Leader. If he can't identify any useful action to derail Congress being ignored by the administration, he's in the wrong job.

Why should the administration listen to you?What consequence will there be if the administration doesn't brief Congress? Tired of the words without action.
