100% Huges said prudent for his approach to the deadline. Dach gives him an excuse to stick to his plan. He was going to anyway but this makes him look good. Point to Dach's recent play in the year ender if pushed on why they didn't move and give up too much this year. He'll overpay when it's time

Yes, correct. This isn't the completed team. They want him when the team is in contention, they'd love him as a finished product now but he isn't there. I really really think they're going to stick with him until they see his ceiling and he's not near it yet
