The Intern’s Thoughts (re: Samberg last part) If the Jets were to sign Samberg to a long term deal today before arbitration begins I’d sign him 7 years with a 6 million AAV.

The Intern’s Thoughts (re: Samberg cont): I have hope that the Jets and Samberg are able to settle at arb and that he’ll re-sign long term next year as a UFA. He’s likely to sign long term imo because he’s got good relationships with his teammates.

Dylan Samberg's night is over.
The #NHLJets D blocked a Steven Stamkos blast earlier this period, was clearly in agony as he hopped off the ice, and now he wont return.
That's a big loss on the blue-line.
