Floyd County's Blackiston Mill Bridge closed until further notice The Blackiston Mill Bridge was closed Sunday evening after an apparent partial failure of the Blackiston Mill Dam upstream.

A project aiming to replace this bridge would rely on around $5 million dollars of federal funding, county commissioner Al Knable told us just a few weeks ago.
