I've recently found myself studying history videos and real life places more than other games when I'm looking for level design inspiration, and I feel like I've inadvertently looped back around to the way devs used to come up with concepts before games became a more established medium 😆

I mean it looks incredible period, but ESPECIALLY for procgen

I legitimately thought this was a hand crafted space, this looks incredible for procedural content!

I'm always flabbergasted by how many horror movies fail to understand that leaving some things to the imagination can make them far scarier.

Getting lost in a big, hand crafted map that's trying to kill me every step of the way is my love language.

It's definitely reassuring to see people enjoying Wuchang's more complex level design/exploration. The world design of Dark Souls 1 is still in a class of its own even compared to other Fromsoft games, and it's something I strive to achieve in my own games.

Nobody warned me about the last 2%, which also takes 90% of the time.
