This is extremely My Jam.
My amigo @dexamalion.bsky.social showed me these the other day, and here's the thing: you can hook 'em up to a Bluetooth speaker.
“But, as you see, it's a beautiful day, the Strait of Hormuz is open and people are having a wonderful time.”
I'm sorry ma'am, but your son perished on Kharg Island in a valiant effort to create Wii Bowling meme videos for the White House X account. In the face of danger, he was not cringe; he was based to his last breath. Please have this commemorative Epic Fury challenge coin. Yes that's Punisher, ma'am
Tarantino in Django leaps immediately to mind.
Know who does a good one? Liev Schreiber.
for Angelenos: a screening of The Long Goodbye with an Elliott Gould Q&A that is inexplicably not sold out yet 👀
Also also - Gateway is Bishop's grandad.
He wasn't, then he was, then he wasn't
Also, in his timeline Australia was nuked to hell, which you would *think* would be a big deal for him.
...the Wikipedia entry has been edited to remove any reference to his heritage.
Yep. Gateway is pretty clearly a racist characterisation. Bishop and Shard are different in that, IIRC, apart from the Bishop miniseries decades ago, if you didn't read the Wikipedia entry, you'd never know they were Indigenous.
I'm down to the very last one of each of these three prints! (Once they're gone they're gone for good!)

I'm a few years behind on X-Men, so if they've done anything to address it I'll jump back in my box, but it's like having a Native American character who's just generically "Indian". Bishop and Shard's ethnic identity is so muted as to be effectively non-existent.
My hot take is that the way X-Men has historically depicted Australia in general and Indigenous Australian characters in particular is cringy AF and I am praying for some kind of course correction.
Like, Bishop is canonically Indigenous. They've never, to my knowledge, even named his Nation.
Luckily, Batman can't paint for shit.
Rent free in my head since 1993.
Better than going to a Canuck farm. Mine's a rescue.
Happy 45th to The Howling.
Disclosure Day is gonna be Serious They Live, isn't it?
You know, these guys are nowhere near as heavily protected as you might think.
Well, at least they didn't call it "elevated sci-fi".
I know I've seen it, but I couldn't tell you five things about it. Wonder what Mostow's up to lately?
