Gretchen is one of modern horror’s key authors. Everything she’s written so far has been an absolute masterpiece and Black Flame is one of my most anticipated titles of 2025. Titan are sending me an ARC, and you can bet your ass when it arrives I’m dropping everything else to read it immediately

Gretchen got suspended, so we have to extra spread the word about Black Flame's release. I had the chance to read it a few months back and it's such a brutal hard look at cultural trauma, assimilation, self hatred, revenge, and the messiness of history. It will knock your socks off
