I've been using Aseprite, and I think it's really helped me not get overwhelmed. I feel like if I was using photoshop for pixel art, I'd just get decision paralysis with all the options and menus.

aww i just don't have a bunch to show off yet. i've only recently started dabbling in visual arts. i'm particularly interested in pixel art and traditional drawing. doing concepts and designs for characters and monsters. has been a big source of joy lately to draw silly creatures lol

Started the Area X series after seeing N.K. Jemisin wrote an into for the 2nd book, and I’m kicking myself for not learning of the books sooner. I love the atmosphere so much along with the endless questions it’s leaving me with. And it’s short which I appreciate. All killer, no filler. #booksky

I think Loop Hero might be good to play while watching things! Movement and combat take care of themselves, meanwhile you'll be making decisions about what gear they are wearing and what their environment looks like to increase their power and walk away with more rewards.
