As a kid, I wanted to grow up to be Janice. ...I might still want to.

Looking down at round, smooth stones I've arranged on a rocky beach. On top of gray stones, I've collected reddish stones of different shades and layered them with white ones. I like the playful contrasts in color, shape, and size.

Walking on the north shore of Lake Superior (Gitchi-Gami to the indigenous Ojibwe) in Minnesota. I love to make impermanent arrangements of smooth stones - on this stroll I was excited by the rust-ish red ones, contrasting with whites. #stones #beachcombing #lakesuperior #grandmarais #minnesota

Brigid's Cross & headboard in "my" cottage (if only)! I stayed here in County Sligo for a month, with a dear friend (modern-day bard, really). True joy to start the days with strong coffee, porridge & long chats. Then out to weed gardens for a bit. Then, "Shall we go see another holy well?" #Brigid

It seems there was a dinner at the WH where a military choir serenaded the orange turd and his guest with a rendition of One Day More from Les Miserables, and the ignorant fools loved it. This is what happens when you donโ€™t read. People mock you to your face. ๐Ÿ˜น

So, folks with stage 4 cancer who are alive because of Medicare & Social Security... just... go ahead & die? I refuse to give up, but I don't know what to do to fight, to help... but I'm ready.

It sure did my GenX soul good to tune into #FireAid just as Nirvana launched their surprise set with Joan Jett, Kim Gordon, St. Vincent, & Violet Grohl. Really cool to watch Dave Grohl drumming & smiling like a proud dad behind his daughter. Now, Chili Peppers gettin spicy in their underpants...๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ

I've been shopping at Target since I could ride in the cart. I'm so disappointed in them. I'll be deleting the app & looking for an alternative.

Cheers to 20 years of Minnesota's own listener-supported music station, @thecurrent.org. Hey @barbabney.bsky.social, I'd love to hear "Don't Give Up" from Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush. Musical soul-balm. Thanks.โœจ
